I am finally coming up for air and looking to get my Roxor setup Tuned via Diesel Freak! I have not been able to be on here much so just wondering how the tune is going and real world outcomes ! Thanks.

From my reading on here I believe that Diesel Freak has all the bugs out of it now. A small number of the first Tunes had to be returned for a slight modification. I believe they now have all the bugs out of the tune.
No one has said that they were not impressed as far as I know.
I have not ordered one so far. I still have a few other improvements to my Roxor on my List in front of the Tune. Next up for me will probably be the Diesel Freak Twin Stick Modification.

Glad you are back.

DO IT! You won't regret it. I've had mine since the tune came out for the 2.7l (Had to send it back for the reprogram which wasn't anything major) and haven't had any issues. I believe this is how the newer Roxors should come from the factory. Your acceleration is better, you can maintain speed pulling hills, the machine just feels better all around too. If you can spend the $$ I wouldn't hesitate.

The reason for the De-Tune of the Roxor, I am sure is due to DEF being required over 75 HP.
I would much rather pay for "The Tune" than mess with DEF from day one. The Roxor does not need any more GREEN GARBAGE on it than what it currently has.

That does not make a lot of sense being that the 2.5 was 55HP.

Coldweather86 My understanding is that 75 HP and up is where DEF is required. No matter how clean the diesel engine burns, a factory diesel engine still gets DEF from 75HP on up. Along with all the Electronic Garbage that goes with DEF on a Diesel Engine.
The 2.5L and 2.7L Mahindra Diesel Engines when factory rated at 62 HP or 55 HP are not required to burn DEF. They are well under 75HP.
The Mahindra 2.5 and 2.7 Diesels can be made to produce more than 75 HP easily. They do not make more HP from the factory for a reason. If Mahindra made an 80 HP Roxor 2.7L Diesel Engine it would come from the factory requiring the use of DEF.
