Can AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR® 80W-90 100% SYNTHETIC GEAR LUBE be used in the differentials, the manual transmission and the transfer case?

That is what I am using. I topped off the fluids earlier this year. I think I will drain and refill at the next opportunity.

Yes if it carries the GL5 rating it can be used in axles, Transfer case, and manual transmission.

Yes, definitely I run amsoil with all of my fluids in my Roxor. Oil, gl-5, gl-4, grease

Just called Amsoil also, they said running the Severe Gear in the transmission and transfer case was fine also.

I put a qt in the transmission ( it was low) 1 pint in the transfer case. I will drain it all this fall when I get some free time. I only topped off my fluids.

Just called Amsoil also, they said running the Severe Gear in the transmission and transfer case was fine also.

I asked Amsoil about the 2.7l engine just see what they would say for oil recommendations. I didn't get a straight answer for the engine, but as far as the axles, transmission and TC, that is the oil they recommend.

Decided not to take any chances and got the GL-4 transmission fluid from amsoil. 75w90.
