EGR Coolant Lines

EGR removed as well as Intercooler. I capped off the Coolant lines but the Caps on the lines are swelling up and already cracked. Would you replace the caps (about 2 months old) or loop the coolant line from the discharge to the Intake?

caps are weak with no nylon renforcement in them so they could blow as well ...got to be a better way

I just finished mine and ended up using about a foot of 5/8" heater hose to make a loop connecting the discharge and intake. It was easy and I have no leaks.
