Front Wheel Bearings

Haven’t confirmed any of these but this pic was posted on Facebook and supposed to be the correct parts

Confirmed everything is right except the inner seal is not correct in its outer diameter. Thanks for trying! The seal is metric and cannot get the number to cross over to anything. Looks like I'll have to get it from Mahindra.

Take the seal to your local industrial bearing supplier. tell them measure and find. They have ALL the books with anything ever made in them.

Front inner wheel bearing seal, National oil seal #4450115, installed 4 months ago no problem. however the stock seal is very nice and has a third lip to keep dirt out.

many owners have posted the lack of grease in the bearings . when i installed the front axles, i inspected the bearings and found the same issue. there was so little grease in the bearings the cages had rust on them. to remove the inner bearing you will destroy the seal. but again the stock seals are very nice, i orders some so when i re gear the diff's i will put stock ones back in.
 
Thank you for the details here. I just recently bought my Roxor so I wanted to make sure I understood the reason.

I will keep that in mind this winter might be a good time to check some of those items when it's very Frozen up north.

Well, sounds like Mahindra should cover this issue. I don't understand how they can ship units out without proper levels of fluid and grease in the bearings.....

While yoyr addressing the "Lack-OF" issue. It would be adefinite plus if you went ahead and checked all your gearbox fluids. You'll find that they are all probably low too. There's a topic on it somewhere on the forums. Mine were all low.

I was just sharing what I saw on Facebook and haven’t verified. That said just buy from Jesse at torque king and support a fellow Roxor owner thats supporting our habit.
 
Could someone let me know what tools are really necessary to replace the front wheel bearings? We have a farm and lots of various tools and large sockets . Have also used pvc pipe to replace bearings/races on RTV. I want to have the necessities on hand but without breaking the bank. Thanks for answering.

You will need a spindle nut socket: QT1011 2-1/16" Hex Front Spindle Nut Socket Jeep IHC

To remove old bearing cups, a hammer and punch works but I like a special tapered bearing punch that is less likely to scar the hub bore: QT9301 5/8" x 20" Bearing Cup Remover Punch

To install new bearing cups and seals, you could split the old cups to use as driver bushings with a punch, but I do make tools specific for this and similar size bearings and seals: TS1257 Roxor Wheel Brg/Seal Tool Kit

While you're in there, it is a good idea to check out spindle bushings and seals too.

With a socket/ ratchet, hammer, and punch, realistically you can change these parts on the side of the road. The special tools just make things easier.

Glad to help! If you get the tools, I have a challenge that I use with new guys here or buddies who come over to work on stuff. Do 1 side with the tools you have, then do the other side with my tools. That stuff is expensive, but the investment can be justified pretty quick!

This is the wrong end of the Roxor for this post.
We are just finishing up replacing all the Bearings and Seals in my Rear End. The parts came from Jesse at Torq King 4X4. Timken Bearings are going back in. My mechanic was not impressed with the Mahindra Bearings. It is good to have a source of bearings that are better than the OEM parts.
