TL/DR: do the headlights take a gasket?

I just pulled the stock plastic POS grille off my 22 base and the piece of rubber pictured above fell out.

It appears to fit nicely around the headlights. Seems reasonable to have a gasket there. However, there was only ONE. Not two.

So my questions are:
1. Do Roxors have headlight gaskets or some other kind of seal?
2. Where can I buy a replacement?
3. Bonus: why is the stock grille such a joke?!

I swapped my headlights out for some aftermarket LEDs. That gasket on both of my headlights looked like yours. I just tossed them and didn't try to find other ones. I think they install those gaskets just like that, torn and cracked  Doesn't seem like have any use.

They are definitely not listed in the parts manuals. So, part of the headlight assembly.

Mine were toast as well. I think the rubber is there more for vibrations. It certainly would not seal anything. Anyway, I wrapped red RTV tape around the light and reinstalled. I'll try and find a link for the tape. The roll I had was left over from work.

They have it in different colors too. I had red so that is what I used. Self adhesion to itself, good in weather and very high temps.

DrunkBill, is that non skid paint on the hood of your Roxor?

Mine were dry rotted as well on a brand new machine. I just threw them away and put headlights and grill back on without them. They are not really needed.

I did the same when I installed the halo headlights. Doesn't bother me the headlight trim rings and screws are showing.

My Roxor is lowest rank on the chain base model so that’s what they probably had left over at the factory. What you’re seeing there is some custom, 100% organic, after market oak pollen, locally sourced.
