Did you check the fuses under the dash passenger side?

Check after the fuse with a multi meter or test light, you mentioned mice(Murphys friends)
I had no lights, inst cluster, power outlet or starter engagement. Low voltage with key on.
Turned out to be the grounding stud on rear of firewall, pax side above then inst panel fuse box. New machine, worked for a few hrs. Maybe paint or not tightened enough at factory.
took 4 months to figure it out.

Fuse #32 is the power supply to the headlight and light bar switches., as well as the marker lights and horn.
