What are you all using for an illuminated license plate mount? I see some trailer license/light combos that would work fine.

I couldn’t find a full size tag bracket I liked , then I saw a Jeep with the plate bracket mounted in the spare on the back so I got spare and bought spare tire tag bracket on e bay I’ll post pictures tommorow

I'm thinking about that route too. Standing by for pics.

Note wiring comes up from bumper under tire I used a two pin deutse connector (advance auto parts) make sure to cut lock tab off Incase someone opens tail gate it will just come undone rather then tear wires out

Could you send the link to the spare tire bracket. This is exactly what I need.

I used a cheapy lit plastic backer and zip tied it on to the rear bumper. Ghetto but who cares, it's legal.

My vehicle is street legal in Utah. They issue a smaller license plate (like a motorcycle plate) for UTVs that have the proper gear. There is a small light for the plate that came with the street legal light kit.

Who made the street legal kit?

It should be, I'd think, quite easy to jumper off the existing taillight for illumination. What we need is someone to make a plate that's spaced for Roxor taillight holes. Something that fits underneath the factory light in the same way an old CJ did.

It was installed prior to us taking delivery of the vehicle. On our invoice it says the kit was from Ryco.

Here's my advice: Installed Jeep LED taillights and they come with a downward iluminator that comes one whenever you turn on the headlights. My license plate can be easily seen at night and I love the LED look.
