Location to mount the solenoid for my winch under the hood

Good afternoon, looking for ideas on location to mount the solenoid for my winch under the hood. Did you mount it above the battery? somewhere else? Thoughts... Thx in advance

Most winches have a plate that bolts onto the winch and the solenoid pack mounts there. That’s what I would do unless your going to hardwire a switch in the cab otherwise you’ll have to open the hood every time you want to use the winch.

I ordered a Searcher Control Pack Mount to center mount the Control Pack on top of my new Warm M8000/M8 on my Jeep MOAB. It has an AEV Front bumper that the winch mounts behind. Just the control pack sticking up above the bumper. The control pack would look funny if not center mounted.
If you want it remote mounted you should have plenty of room under the hood.
