Is anyone else have rear differential heat issues after installing the Spartan lockers? If so, what are the remedies?

The only issue I know of with the Spartan is the spacer, did they reuse the factory spacer?

That the only thing I can think of, how is the fluid. The level and how clean is it?

It's full of 80w 90, replaced yesterday. It's filled to the input plug. Ends of the axles (caps) are hot to touch and so was the differential cover. Was on both paved and gravel roads for about 15 miles at speeds of about 35mph tops.

Replaced with Valvoline 80w 90. We had to replace the seals, didn't realize we had damaged them when we installed the Spartan lockers. Was suggested to drain 1/2 a quart out and add Lucas stabilizer.

Replaced both inner and outer seals and wheel bearings to be safe. But still have heat issues

Running a Full Synthetic fluid with dramatically drop Temps over petroleum fluids. A few of us here Run severe gear Amsoil. It will go from to hot to touch to warm. Me and Roxasuras both swapped out everything to Amsoil

This is it.
