The factory fan shroud has been out for awhile but I haven't noticed any mention of it. The fan shroud would seem like a mandatory item for those of us in the Southwest.

Anyone install one? Any feedback?

Yes, 30 minute job. Incredibly easy. Living in the Deep South with 9-10 months of summer, I could see any negatives.

Looks like they're not in stock--of course...

You might want to call Sherwood directly. I bought the shroud a couple weeks ago and it arrived damaged (it had a defect and was cracked at the seam). I looked on Sherwoods site and it said sold out. I called and they had another on it’s way to me within a couple days.

Simple job, no drilling, four bolts to install, plus some other bolts to temporarily remove to help get brackets and shroud in place. It has got to improve cooling efficiency and it definitely does help keeping hay/grass and weed debris off the radiator. 30 minutes if you are organized and know what you're doing. By the time I get the right tools together and find the pieces I drop, takes me a bit longer, but no big deal and a nice improvement.

I couldn’t find any directions for it on Roxor’s page or anywhere else. It comes with the shroud, two identical brackets four bolts/screws and 4 slip on nuts. The brackets only mount one way on each side, where it mounts to the shroud is offset Up/down on one side. I took the air intake off so I could fit it behind the radiator. The nuts slip onto the brackets so the bolt is forward. I did one side at a time with the shroud in place. Just remove four radiator bolts and reuse them to hold the brackets. Once everything was together I tighten it up and put the intake back on.

I'm getting ready to do mine; can someone send a picture of one installed?

Hope it helps, remove the two items circled in red makes it easier, the air intake out of the way makes it best to slide in the shroud. I did not disconnect the coolant hose!

Any more details someone can provide on how you get the shroud in without messing up the radiator? Do you install it from the side or top?
