Thermostat housing leaking

I came out to the Roxor today and noticed a small leak of coolant on the driveway. Found it is coming from the T-stat housing at the engine block, it looks like there is a thin gasket. I'm thinking of just trying to use RTV. Thoughts or suggestions, also has anyone had this issue??

Get a roll of gasket material from Napa. Make your own. Often times the material is much better than most OEM gaskets.

I was thinking of that as a possibility also but thought RTV might be more effective given how it is bolted on the block.
