Naples, Florida Three days ago I filled up at 7/11 for $4.85/gal. when I placed the nozzle back on the pump, the price increased to $5.19/gal.

It is still at $5.19/gal.

I paid $5.04 when I filled up my truck last week. I bought a commuter car last month, a 2014 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. Couldn't have gotten it at a more perfect time. Commuting 94 miles a day in my truck was killing me in fuel. Cannot image what it would feel like right now since fuel prices have jumped over $1.50 in a week.

In North Central WV diesel went up $1.20 in less then 10 days and now is $4.99 a gallon.
We suspect it will be $6 by the end of this week.
