At 35 hours I decided to change the fuel filter and found a defect in the media. you can't see it in the pics but it goes right to the center. I encourage everyone who hasn't changed theirs to do so, and check your new one. I think this could lead to a lot of problems... Just sayin'

Looks to me like a seam where the media came together. Don’t recall seeing that when I changed mine but then again I wasn’t looking for one. If it’s a seam like I’ve seen on other filters there really isn’t a gap in media for debris to get by. Just a more open spot amongst the pleats.

It’s a seam. I just replaced mine, both old and new filter has it.

Well at 27k miles 954 hrs this Roxor owner has just pulled his filter after fuel pressure issues. I asked him if he has ever replaced to which he said no. Safe to say this is his first change, and fuel pressure issues

Rebel57.
I've been running diesels since 1992 and it was always instilled in me to keep those fuel filters clean. I would suggest RTFM! I changed my fuel filter on my 2019 this past weekend at 1521 miles as the manual says to replace it every 1500 miles.

Has anyone cross referenced these? I just don't wanna buy Mahindra filters....

From my understanding there’s no cross for the fuel filter on the older models. I believe the new engine has a cross.
