Got door latches all fabbed up. the goal was to match the On The Rox doors in the front. It may just be me but it would drive mt nuts if the front and rear doors didn't operate the same way, and that includes the sound they make when they are shut. I came up with a super simple way to mount the latches that allows for adjustment and fine tuning. I sunk them into the sill i made to minimize the possibility of catching your clothing as you jump out. The weather stripping seals the door and keeps anything from rattling. Very happy with how this turned out.

I've had a set of Wrangler JK rock sliders sitting in the shop for a while. Why not cut them up and use them for this project! I took 8.5 inches out of the middle and sleeved it back together. it is tied into the frame to help stiffen everything up. I also decided to add a body mount towards the middle to make sure the beating these things will take wont ever allow them to get pushed up into the body like the previous ones had done over time.

The over thinking continues... the rear seat mounts are built to be as safe as possible for obvious reasons. Because the seats tilt back it was important to over build the frames as they will act as the 5point harness mount as well. My daughter always falls asleep on the trail so being able to tilt her back and keep her head from flopping around will be great! I'm still undecided on how to actuate the seat tilt but the pivot is done and working perfect.

I need to do some updated videos. I haven’t posted on you tube in a good bit. Maybe I should change that with this weekend’s shake down ride.

AWESOME, too short Max!

I know. It was too damn cold to get anyone to do some real filming today. I’ll get a decent video up soon.

This is just the proof it’s real and it works!

I wish that you lived next door so you could help get my YJ Half Doors installed. They will require some fabrication.
I need to get back on the YJ Windshield first. I had shifted gears to deer season preparations. I am ready to get back on the Windshield now.

I took your suggestion on ordering the YJ Windshield Roll Bar Flanges. They should work fine, way heavier duty than the OEM ones made from recycled beer cans. No problem welding to these at all.

My plan is to keep the front Roll Bars at stock height almost to the front to maximize head room, but instead of bending them to go to the Floor/Frame like yours do. I will kick them down to the Windshield Flanges like a YJ. I do not wheel hard at all, so this should not be a safety concern. My plan is to have a fabricator adjust the front of my existing Fortress Top to mate with the top of the YJ Windshield. The kick down to mate with the windshield should give me a good location to mount a Light Bar. Mounting the Light Bar at the top of the Windshield should keep the roof to windshield bend from looking strange. It will also lower the Light Bar height a little keeping it away from limbs better.

Sounds like a good plan. I love that Roxors are simple and sturdy enough that you can chop it up and make it whatever you want. A great build platform!
