Put Climax 1.5" shackles on the front and bumper shackle mounts on. Easy-peasy.

Thanks! I about froze my ass off doing it, but it's done! Currently 32 deg and really windy, so I'm glad it only took a half hour or so to put them on!

Knocked out the differentials with fresh Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 today. Did the EGR delete last night. Trans & transfer case on Monday. Just about done setting up a clean slate of maintenance on this new (to me) Rox. Just about to the point that I'm confident in taking this thing on some long and lonely trails in the middle of nowhere!

By the way, I love the drain plug on the diffs. So simple, I don't know why every axle manufacturer doesn't do the same thing.

Went to Box Canyon near Florence Az. We saw three Big Horn sheep on the wall in the canyon. If you look at the 3rd picture you can see one.
I got my Hi-Lift Jack Mounted using the Roxor Parts Direct Hood Mount. I have had it mounted close to a Month, and it is doing fine.
I did not post it on this thread, but I had the Rear Locker Removed. I was going to put up with the Locker over the Winter, however the garage let the Spacer rotate, and the Left Wheel bearing went out, and trashed all the bearings in the rear end. I now have all Timken Bearings, and no annoying Locker.
The Directions should be a lot more clear on how to check the Spacer to make sure that it is aligned right. It should also be in BOLD Print and Underlined so that the Garage knows this is a critical part of the installation. Most garages are not up to speed on a Dana 44 19 Spline Axle that has not been used in anything American Made for a very long time.
Next Upgrade will be a Harbor Freight ZXR 12,000 Winch. I will pick it up on the Black Friday Sale coming up in a couple weeks.
After the Winch Install, I will be concentrating on Doors. I have some ideas I believe that I can make work.

I’ve got the ‘24 HD Base. I’ll combine today, and a few days ago! From bone stock status, I installed 1.5” Climax shackles on the front, and 2” wheel spacer adapters all the way around, made a new friend who hooked me up with a windshield, and a set of factory sport bars. All things in and we have a hell of a transformation! Next up, tires and shocks!

Weather is crappy outside, so I only swapped out the 14mm hub bolts to cap head bolts on each of the front hubs. When I bought this used Roxor, it was missing 3 bolts on each side, so I figured since I'm going to eventually put some locking hubs on, I'll replace all of them with the hex head bolts. It should make putting the new hubs on easier when I get them. Days like this make me miss my old house where I had a 40x40 steel shop! My new house has a little 2-car garage and I have too many motorcycles in there to work on the Roxor in there!

I received my On The Rox Fabrication spare tire mount. I purchased the extended mount for my 35 inch tires and in case I went to wider tires. Anyway, the tire mount is built very sturdy. It looks nice to have the spare tire mounted on the rear versus it laying in the back of the Roxor. My grand daughter says it looks like a Gladiator now.

Those bolts will continue to work themselves loose and always need to be torqued down during/after every trip off-road, especially on hard ground like rocks. I imagine that’s how those ended up missing. I ended up swapping these on my Roxor and hopefully that problem will be greatly reduced if not eliminated all together.

Greased the zerks on the leafs and rear axle. The previous owner must have never greased the rear axle because it took about 30 pumps per side to get grease to start coming out the weep hole. Then took it for a spin!

Put RC 1.5"-wheel spacers on. I like the stance of the machine a little better. Looks good. After that, I went for a 4-hour ride and after that, fortunately, my wheels hadn't fallen off, so I think she's good to go.

I made a trip to Harbor Freight in West Plains Missouri and picked up a new ZXR 12,000 pound Winch for Rocky. I had previously ordered and installed the Winch Plate from Diesel Freak. I came close to making a mistake going to West Plains. It looked like the West Plains location had not stocked up at all for the Black Friday Sale. ($249.99 Black Friday Sale Price on the ZXR12,000 Winch) It looked like I picked up the only ZXR 12,000 Winch in the store. The Rolla Store had a pile of them in the floor a couple weeks ago. I had planned on picking up probably Three Soft Shackles, they had NONE in stock.
At the price the Soft Shackles sell for, I am very tempted to make an order for a Synthetic Winch Line, and use it to build some Soft Shackles. I watched a couple of You Tube DIY's on Making Soft Shackles. I am pretty sure that I can make them. Another factor is that I am not going to use them for any HD Recovery. My plan for them will mostly be to connect 20 foot sections of 2" Pull Strap's, pulling over trees to get them to fall where I want them.
I ordered a 2 Inch X 20 Foot Pull Strap from the local hardware, it should be in tomorrow. If Impressed I will order a couple more of them. I believe that I have one already under the seat in Rocky. I have several w/Hooks. I am wanting to get away from the metal hooks except for dragging logs.
Back to the Winch. This time of year, I will need to wait for a nice day that I am off work to install it. This coming weekend is not going to be that day. I am hoping to be able to mount the winch with the Winch Plate installed so that I do not have to remove the Bumper and Hooks and the Winch Plate. I guess I will see when I start the install.
