So I found a "Fan Art" 7 slot grill (yes fan art is completely legal) the question is do I leave it gloss black or do I paint it OD green??

Let us know which way you decide to go. Id love to see a pic.

I don't think you can go wrong either way. If you do paint I like everybody's suggestion to leave the bezels black. I have a sand colored Roxor with a black grill and I like the contrast. It ties the black roll bar and other black components together while I think.

Don't like it. The painted green grille looks much better. All subject to opinion.

Pull the grill straight out - pops right out. I can still notice the clips through my new 7 slot grill - need to dab them with flat black paint. I have the original grill stored and it could be popped right back in.

I was going to say leave it Black, then I saw the Green one, and it looked great also.
No Wrong answer :)

@oldgreybull: I'm away from my Roxor now, so I need to ask a few more details.
- Do you mean I just pull the painted grill straight off without removing any fasteners? That's almost too easy (measured by modern car standards where nothing is accessible without removing at least a dozen plastic covers :) )
- if I need to remove the metal wire fasteners, do they just pull out?
- Do the headlight shrouds need to come off?
Thanks for the response.
Remove the headlights and a screw at the bottom. Then just pull straight out and the grill should come out.
