RC 5" with 35s - WARNING

I just wanted to give you all a warning. The rough country 5" lift with 35" tires (at least for my machine) requires longer drive shafts. In switching to a twin stick configuration, I disconnected the front drive shaft. in putting things back together, I quickly realized it is fully extended to the end of the yolk as it sits on level ground. This is not good. I contact RC via phone, but I doubt they will offer the warning on their site. Even worse, they will likely miss the opportunity to upsell better drive shafts from Torque King.

What did you do to resolve this? Have you had a reply from RC yet?

I talked to a guy on tech support. He didn't seem to really care. I had to ask him to let someone know. He just said ok. Lol. I sent my shaft in to a shop to have it extended.

Any idea or information on what the shop did, how much longer? Thanks again

I think they added 1.5" but replaced the entire tube.
