Turns out Mahindra itself can produce them legally, they got the license to FC as well. I did tweet the main guy a while ago about the FC to plant the idea. Some details about the Indian FC/FJ line up could be found here.

Using a Roxor as a foundation and adding on parts from these guys (Jeep) and a real CJ, this can def happen and be street legal.
