I have played with the tire pressures alittle. 2 passengers, and couple hundred pounds in the back. Front 21psi/Back 18 psi. Rides much better. Tires contact ground evenly. Grips better. The 28 psi might be for fully loaded. Your milage may differ.

30 front and back. Spends most of its time on pavement. Like any other Jeep in AZ.

Def. Unless I'm gonna be going over wet rocks, run at the rated pressure. They will last forever that way, and not go flat when parked in grass/gravel.

55 psi cold is about 60 psi hot, which is perfect for KOs.

Ok this has raised my curiosity. I set my my tire pressure at 28 per the owners manual. The lowering of tire pressure to 21/18 made sense. But the higher inflation did not.

What say you?

The KO2 tires have the 50 psi rating right on em. You shouldnt air down unless you need tire squish.

The recommended tire pressure from mahindra is 28 psi, check the label on your left -b pillar on the rops or the manual. The 50psi is a generic max pressure on your tires not specific to the vehicle. Don't go by that.

Added a poll to this post for different pressure ranges at the top.

I've been running these tires on various Jeeps forever (100s of thousands of miles worth). Always at 50+. They last upwards of 60-70k miles when run at higher pressure, so long as your alignment is ok. Only air down if you need tire squish for traction. The contact patch is perfect at 55 psi cold.

My $.02

If these BFG are anything like the last set I had on my F150, I’d be happy to see 40k before they start to disintegrate.

Yeah, don’t know what’s up with recent turn outs. BFG has a great reputation before that

As with all my jeeps I upgraded tires. Depending on the load range, the stated pressure limits may not apply to your rig. For example, a load range E tire on a Wrangler will not need the pressure the tire has stamped on the sidewall. You will usually wear the middle faster. The best way to tell is to use the talcum powder test. With your tire at stated sidewall pressure ( cold). Sprinkle powder on ground and roll through the powder. Inspect contact patch and air down until tires make complete contact with powder. You will notice difference with front and rear, so test front and rear independently. I will do this when I upgrade tires on the Roxor.

my was delivered with 20ish, probably lack of set up more than on purpose. I aired DOWN to 12lbs for a recent snow event and it grabbed like stink !!

the P-40 graphics confirm the suggested tire pressure, just noticed it today. TP-28

I've been experimenting with tire pressures on my 33 KM3s. Ran it first at what the recommended pressure is of 28. That was way too much. I dropped down to 25 and went out wheeling. Did OK, still not low enough. I'm at 19psi now, I'm going to try that on Saturday for a quick run up the rocks. Planning a trip for the following weekend to Williams. I'm likely going to end up at 15psi. The KM3s need to flatten out to utilize the sidewall. 15 probably won't be enough to do that, but for overlanding it will be ok enough. If/when I get into the rocks, I will air down to 8-10 psi.
